Unmani Yoga Retreat Pokhara

Unmani Yoga Retreat is a peaceful mountain sanctuary situated in the serene hills of Pokhara, Nepal. Surrounded by vibrant greenery, fresh mountain air, and breathtaking Himalayan views, our retreat offers an authentic space to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate profound inner peace through mindful living.

Our Story: How Unmani Was Born

Unmani Yoga Retreat was founded with a single, clear vision: to create a genuine sanctuary where individuals can step away from the noise of daily life and rediscover their true self.

In traditional yogic philosophy, the Sanskrit word Unmani describes a state of total stillness, heightened awareness, and meditation beyond the constant chatter of the thinking mind. Born out of a deep personal journey through yoga, traditional meditation, and vibrational sound healing, Unmani has grown into a warm, supportive space for international seekers searching for balance, clarity, and meaningful personal transformation.

What Makes Unmani Different: More Than a Yoga Retreat

Authentic Yoga

Gentle Hatha practices, somatic breath awareness, and restorative movements designed to balance the physical and energetic systems.

Guided Meditation

Silent sitting, Vipassana-inspired practices, and practical mindfulness techniques to quiet the mind and heighten awareness.

Himalayan Sound Healing

Deep vibrational relaxation using traditional hand-hammered singing bowls to clear energetic blockages.

Noble Silence

Designated periods of quiet observation that allow guests to turn their attention inward free from external noise.

Immersive Nature

A peaceful environment enveloped by clean mountain air and panoramic Annapurna views that naturally invite calm.

Conscious Community

A warm, international environment grounded in simplicity, mutual respect, and shared presence.

Our Core Philosophy: The True Meaning of Yoga

At Unmani, yoga is not a performance—it is a path of inner integration. True yoga signifies union: the harmonious alignment of body, breath, mind, emotions, and spirit.
