Unmani Yoga Retreat in Pokhara Nepal

Our Story

How Unmani Was Born

Unmani Yoga Retreat was created with a simple intention: to offer a peaceful space where people can step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with themselves.

The word Unmani comes from the yogic tradition, describing a state of stillness, awareness, and meditation beyond the thinking mind.

Born from a personal journey of yoga, meditation, and healing, Unmani has grown into a welcoming retreat for people seeking balance, clarity, inner peace, and meaningful transformation.

What Makes Unmani Different

More Than a Yoga Retreat

Unmani integrates multiple paths of inner development rather than focusing on only physical yoga practice.

Yoga

Gentle Hatha Yoga, breath awareness, therapeutic movement, and mindful practice to bring balance to body and mind.

Meditation

Sound Healing

Deep relaxation and energetic balance through Himalayan singing bowls and therapeutic sound vibrations.

Silence

Periods of silence to help you disconnect from external distractions and turn inward.

Community

A welcoming international space where simplicity, respect, and shared presence create meaningful connection.

Our Philosophy

The True Meaning of Yoga

At Unmani, yoga is not just physical exercise—it is a path of inner integration.

Yoga means union:
the harmony of body, breath, mind, emotions, and awareness.

Our teachings are based on:
